31 weeks, down to single digits!
Today we are 31 weeks! Very exciting! This past week we toured the hospital which was pretty neat. Other than the "code purple" event. YES prego gone crazy! Anyways, it was neat to walk through and see exactly where we will be and what will happen. I almost burst into tears when they talked about delivery and how after delivery baby is placed on me and after a bit, cleaned and handed to dad. Oh I cant wait to see Ella in her daddies arms. We also took a infant care class. Learned a few things we didnt know already, but with being around babies our whole life I think we knew alot of it. Lets just say I think we are expert swaddlers! We finished a few things in the nursery as well. Put up the chandelier that my mom made and its absolutely gorgeous! The pics are on the nursery page :) We also had a docs appointment this week and Ella is doing great! She actually measured right on at 31 cm this week, she must have just been really stretched out last time. She should be making a big growth spurt this next week, so we shall see :)

30 weeks...10 more to go! But who's counting?!
Well today we are 30 weeks! 10 more to go! Matt and I start our parenting classes on Tuesday :) We will be doing the infant care class, infant safety class, and breastfeeding class. Along with that we are also doing classes on preparing for birth. We want to be as prepared as we possibly can. I am so excited to start the classes with my wonderful husband because I think it's going to be fabulous bonding :) Oh.. I cant even control my excitement for Ella to be here! She is very active and seems to be a happy baby already. We go check up on her on Wednesday, that's always exciting! We have a few projects to finish like the cradle but when Matt finished it's going to be so beautiful! A true work of art and something that we can pass down! I'm so proud of him.
Here we are at 30 weeks:
A former student and her brother (who I have now) got me this! She goes to Baylor now! So sweet!

29 Weeks Update
We went to the doctor yesterday and everything was great! Of course we waited longer than we were actually in there but it's all good. Ella had a huge growth spurt these last two weeks. When the measure the belly they look for you to measure either 2 cm below or above your actually week number. I was measuring 31 cm, which is at the tip top! So, I'm measuring big :) I think Ella is going to be a big girl and I'm pretty excited about it! I'm pretty sure its all legs and feet if we compare her to her mommy and daddy. I'm predicting long and lean :) But hey who knows. We will have our next sonogram at 37 weeks to see what position she is in and estimate how big she is, oh I cant wait! I was filling out registration paperwork today for the hospital and as I was reading the information on everything I almost teared up. I just cant believe that we are going to be parents and this precious being is going to be mine. I know God has prepared us and I cant wait to see what he holds for His new child. She will be God's first then ours :) So in the next few weeks we will be taking birth preparation classes and all that good stuff getting ready for her to be here. The nursery is looking adorable and now we are just waiting to fill it will the goodies from the showers. We are so thankful for everyone in our lives that have helped us prepare for our special little one. Ella has really started moving!! I can literally see her moving around, its pretty crazy that I am able to feel her little arms and legs now. Well 11 or so more weeks to go!

Truly Blessed :)
Everyday I am realizing more and more how blessed I am to have the family and friends that I have. I have known that for forever but with Ella coming soon, watching my friends and family become so in-love with her like I am, is incredible! My friends and family are putting together a shower that I know will be amazing and where I will be truly blessed. Thank you to my friends for showering us with your love always. I found out my work is also doing a shower in October. Not only am I so blessed to be apart of such an amazing school and crew of counselors but so love that I can call them family. Thank you to them for being a second family to us and being so excited about Ella!! I may already be a crazy mom, making bows and being obsessed with everything, but I don't care!! I'm so excited to be a mom and raise my children in a Godly home with an amazing husband and father. I stop everyday and sit in amazement at how much I have been blessed! I don't want to ever take advantage of that because all the glory goes to God and how good He is!

28 week update!
Well on Friday I was 28 weeks, officially in the third trimester. Ive started having Braxton Hicks contractions, which are not much fun! Ive always heard about them but now its wierd being the one with them. Its all good though, Ella is growing fast and Im so ready for her to be here. She is so active now and moving constantly! I really do love it, thinking that my daughter is being formed in my womb perfectly by God:) To think that Matt and I have helped create this being that I am blessed to call my daughter. Wow, what an amazing feeling!
I have been having a ton of fun making bows for Ella! I also found two that I just had to order, Greenbay packers and Boston Redsox bows. Daddies favorite teams
