36 weeks: Doc update
Today we are 36 weeks! We have had a very eventful week with baby Ella. Went to the doc last Wed and I had high blood pressure so they thought I might be getting preclamsia. Went back today for a check up and my blood pressure was much better! Last Wednesday we also found out that baby Ella is already about 7.5 lbs and over 19 inches long so she is going to be a big baby, which we assumed. Doc says I need to be out of work as of now to rest at home so baby Ella stays in alittle longer. We want her to stay in at least until Friday so we will be full term, maybe even alittle longer. I'm alittle nervous they said they gain a pound a week so she will be over 8 lbs when she does come if its in the next two weeks! Oh well God is in control and knows exactly what is already going to happen. I just need to remember that. So bed rest for now and it also give us time to get the rest of the stuff we still need and for Matt to finish building her cradle, which is almost done!! I do want to say I have the best family, friends, coworkers, and students! I have had calls, facebook messages, text messages, and gift from everyone! From students bringing me gifts to everyone checking on me, I feel so blessed and overwhelmed with joy. I know that Ella is going to be showered with love when she does get here. I think we might have a record of people at the hospital!

35 weeks pics and updates
Today we are 35 weeks! 5 or hopefully less to go! We go to the doctor on Wednesday for our last sonogram to measure how big she is and make sure she is the right way, which Im almost positive she is. My bladder could tell you that! Doc says if everything goes ok and she doesnt come early we can induce on November 24, so she will definitely be on call and will deliver her! So nice of her! We have my work shower next Thursday, which is also very exciting! This weekend is packing weekend, Im packing our bags for the hospital we we will be ready to rock and roll whenever needed.

34 weeks Update!
Well Friday was 34 weeks, that means about 6 weeks to go. Although I would be totally fine with alittle less! As long as she cooks until 37 Im happy. Im so, so, so ready for her to be here. I first and foremost am looking forward to her of course, but Im not gonna lie, Im ready to be comfortable again! Ella is constantly active and growing like a weed! You know your big when people say, "wow, your big, when are you due?" Yes I'm pretty huge, but feel so blessed that it's all baby! Good job mom and Ella! We go to the doc on Monday to see how much she has grown the past 2 weeks, so that's always exciting! This Tuesday is our last class! I can't believe we are already done, I feel like we just started. But I'm very excited to be done because that means we are closer to the day! Everytime we go, we have to stop by the nursery to look at the sweet new babies, and one day soon mine will be in there :) We got our glider this weekend and our stroller! Im so excited about both of those items, I'm truly feeling like a mom! Well I will have pics up soon of the belly and doc update! That's all for now!

Wow! What a Weekend of Events!
This past week has been crazy and exciting! We had a 4D sonogram done and it was absolutely amazing! I wasnt going to get one done but when we got there I just had too and Im so glad that I did. It was absolutely breathtaking to see my daughter.
We also had our first baby shower this weekend! Thanks to my best friend Sarah Martin, Ashley, Lindsay, and my wonderful mother and mother inlaw. It was far more than I could ever ask for. Ella got a bunch of super cute clothes! So we are extremely blessed!

32 Week Update :)
Well today is actually 32.3 weeks for us! Here are some pics as of now.
Went to the doctor on Monday for our check up and everything is great! She is measuring right on perfectly, cant ask for anything better. Well.. she could come just a tad early :) But probably wont. Oh well. We just cant wait for her arrival and seeing her sweet face. My feet have decided to just stay swollen now a days so thats not all that fun, but hey it's just part of it. We have our Maternity pics on Sunday with Laura and Donna, Im so excited to see what creative things they are going to do! This week we have already had infant safety class, which was actually really good and tomorrow we have breastfeeding class. Im actually really excited about that one because that's what Im most nervous about! Ashley took some fun pics of us this past weekend for some little surprise she is making for my shower, which is this weekend!! Here are a few favs.

31 weeks, down to single digits!
Today we are 31 weeks! Very exciting! This past week we toured the hospital which was pretty neat. Other than the "code purple" event. YES prego gone crazy! Anyways, it was neat to walk through and see exactly where we will be and what will happen. I almost burst into tears when they talked about delivery and how after delivery baby is placed on me and after a bit, cleaned and handed to dad. Oh I cant wait to see Ella in her daddies arms. We also took a infant care class. Learned a few things we didnt know already, but with being around babies our whole life I think we knew alot of it. Lets just say I think we are expert swaddlers! We finished a few things in the nursery as well. Put up the chandelier that my mom made and its absolutely gorgeous! The pics are on the nursery page :) We also had a docs appointment this week and Ella is doing great! She actually measured right on at 31 cm this week, she must have just been really stretched out last time. She should be making a big growth spurt this next week, so we shall see :)

30 weeks...10 more to go! But who's counting?!
Well today we are 30 weeks! 10 more to go! Matt and I start our parenting classes on Tuesday :) We will be doing the infant care class, infant safety class, and breastfeeding class. Along with that we are also doing classes on preparing for birth. We want to be as prepared as we possibly can. I am so excited to start the classes with my wonderful husband because I think it's going to be fabulous bonding :) Oh.. I cant even control my excitement for Ella to be here! She is very active and seems to be a happy baby already. We go check up on her on Wednesday, that's always exciting! We have a few projects to finish like the cradle but when Matt finished it's going to be so beautiful! A true work of art and something that we can pass down! I'm so proud of him.
Here we are at 30 weeks:
A former student and her brother (who I have now) got me this! She goes to Baylor now! So sweet!

29 Weeks Update
We went to the doctor yesterday and everything was great! Of course we waited longer than we were actually in there but it's all good. Ella had a huge growth spurt these last two weeks. When the measure the belly they look for you to measure either 2 cm below or above your actually week number. I was measuring 31 cm, which is at the tip top! So, I'm measuring big :) I think Ella is going to be a big girl and I'm pretty excited about it! I'm pretty sure its all legs and feet if we compare her to her mommy and daddy. I'm predicting long and lean :) But hey who knows. We will have our next sonogram at 37 weeks to see what position she is in and estimate how big she is, oh I cant wait! I was filling out registration paperwork today for the hospital and as I was reading the information on everything I almost teared up. I just cant believe that we are going to be parents and this precious being is going to be mine. I know God has prepared us and I cant wait to see what he holds for His new child. She will be God's first then ours :) So in the next few weeks we will be taking birth preparation classes and all that good stuff getting ready for her to be here. The nursery is looking adorable and now we are just waiting to fill it will the goodies from the showers. We are so thankful for everyone in our lives that have helped us prepare for our special little one. Ella has really started moving!! I can literally see her moving around, its pretty crazy that I am able to feel her little arms and legs now. Well 11 or so more weeks to go!

Truly Blessed :)
Everyday I am realizing more and more how blessed I am to have the family and friends that I have. I have known that for forever but with Ella coming soon, watching my friends and family become so in-love with her like I am, is incredible! My friends and family are putting together a shower that I know will be amazing and where I will be truly blessed. Thank you to my friends for showering us with your love always. I found out my work is also doing a shower in October. Not only am I so blessed to be apart of such an amazing school and crew of counselors but so love that I can call them family. Thank you to them for being a second family to us and being so excited about Ella!! I may already be a crazy mom, making bows and being obsessed with everything, but I don't care!! I'm so excited to be a mom and raise my children in a Godly home with an amazing husband and father. I stop everyday and sit in amazement at how much I have been blessed! I don't want to ever take advantage of that because all the glory goes to God and how good He is!

28 week update!
Well on Friday I was 28 weeks, officially in the third trimester. Ive started having Braxton Hicks contractions, which are not much fun! Ive always heard about them but now its wierd being the one with them. Its all good though, Ella is growing fast and Im so ready for her to be here. She is so active now and moving constantly! I really do love it, thinking that my daughter is being formed in my womb perfectly by God:) To think that Matt and I have helped create this being that I am blessed to call my daughter. Wow, what an amazing feeling!
I have been having a ton of fun making bows for Ella! I also found two that I just had to order, Greenbay packers and Boston Redsox bows. Daddies favorite teams

26 weeks and growing!
Today I am 26 weeks :) We are so excited that our sweet baby is growing strong! Got a call from the Doc saying I passed the glucose test but low on iron so I will be starting iron today. Only 14 weeks till the due date and we get to meet our sweet Ella. We are still deciding whether we want to get the 4D sonogram or not, we think it might kinda take the surprise away, but hey they are pretty cool! We will see!

The Star of the Show!
We had our first sonogram at 7 weeks, it was such as amazing feeling to see our sweet little baby for the first time! After trying for so long (it felt like), it was so breathtaking to finally see the miracle of life beginning.
At 20 weeks we saw our sweet baby and found out it was a girl!! We were absolutely shocked because we were so sure it was a boy. Well actually I felt from the beginning it was a girl, but I think Matt talked me into thinking it was a boy... wow what a great surprise.. not that it mattered! But, I get to buy lots of bows and pink now!
